Nick, the son of contractor Jolinaldi, sabotaged his work because of his independence, and two swindlers, Bobby and Tsipra, robbed the electronics store of Mudd Anthony. The robbery was orchestrated by the local unreliant Karl. Jolinaldi owns the property in L Street, and the mayor pressured him to demolish it. The mayor is eager to develop the area because prosecutors put pressure on him and threatened to expose corruption in the municipal government. Black City Council member Wen sent his relative Franklin to work as a night watchman for Mad Anthony. There was a mistake in robbing the electronics store. Franklin caught Bobby and Chip, and Nick narrowly escaped. The black boys Desmond and Tito on L Street were harassed by bad police. In order to vent his discontent, Tito robbed Les, a professor who worked with Wen's wife Lisa, in the park.
