Danae, the daughter of Argos King Akris, is so beautiful that even Zeus (Laurence Olivier) is fascinated by it. Inspired by Zeus, Danae gave birth to a boy named Perseus. But Argos, who was kept in the dark, thought his daughter was unfaithful and tried to kill his daughter and grandson. His crime aroused the anger of Zeus, who ordered Poseidon (Jack Gwillim) to save Danae and his son, and released the North Sea Giant to destroy Argos. A few years later, Perseus (Harry Hamlin) grows into an impressively beautiful teenager. Zeus loves him so much that he is willing to give him magnificent and outstanding weapons. After that, Perseus, who travels around, meets the beautiful Princess Andrew Meida (Judi Bowker). Andrew Meida was supposed to marry Caribos, the son of Thetis (Maggie Smith), but Caribos angered Zeus and was turned into an ugly monster. Perseus' intervention further aroused the anger of Thetis. A war involving the Olympian gods began.
