Maria (Juliet Binoche Juliette Binoche) is an excellent actress who shot to fame with the role of Sigurd. In the play, Sigurd is ambitious and fatally attractive, and her behavior directly leads to the suicide of a character named Helena, which is an amazing tragedy. Now that Maria is in her forties, fate has put her on the stage again, but this time, instead of being the sexy and deadly Sigurd, she has become the embodiment of tragedy. Sigurd is played by a new generation of actress named Alice (Kolo Grace Moritz Chloe Grace Moretz), whose personality is wild and unruly, often causing trouble and being criticized. In the process of entering the play, Maria saw who she once was in Alice, causing her to think deeply.
