Copying Beethoven

Copying Beethoven 6.8

Vienna, 1824. The 23-year-old Anna Holtz (Diane Krueger Diane Kruger) becomes a scribe for Beethoven (Eddard Harris Ed Harris) with her excellent understanding of music, while the deaf Beethoven is obsessed with creating his own "farewell work". Anna wanted to take the opportunity of working for Beethoven to learn from him and become an excellent composer, but she soon found that Beethoven was a stubborn, rude, immersed madman in her own world. The premiere of Beethoven's Ninth Symphony was successful due to Anna's help in times of crisis, and the relationship between the two gradually improved. When Anna took out the music she wrote for Beethoven's evaluation, it aroused Beethoven's sarcastic ridicule. Anna left Beethoven in a rage. At Beethoven's request, Anna returned to Beethoven and tried to accept the opinions conveyed by his radical words. Anna seemed to understand the genius master. In 2007, the film was nominated for best European film at the Goya Awards, known as the Spanish Academy Awards.
