Daisy (Spiele Shepherd Cybill Shepherd) has a beautiful face, and unlike the women at that time, she is independent and yearns for freedom and unrestrained. On her way to Europe, Daisy meets a young man named Winterborn (Barry Brown). Not long after they meet, Winterborn is deeply attracted by Daisy's cheerfulness and optimism, and the distance between the two is getting closer and closer. Unfortunately, the relationship between Daisy and Winterborn met with strong opposition from her aunt, who told Winterborn that Daisy had poor reviews and was a frivolous and dissolute woman. At first, Winterborn, blinded by love, did not believe what his aunt said, but when he saw Daisy dating a strange man with his own eyes, he finally chose to leave in despair. Soon after, Daisy contracted an incurable illness, and before she died, she wrote a letter to Winterborn, and it was only then that Winterborn discovered the warm and sincere feelings hidden in Daisy's heart for herself.
