Unemployed uncle Domingo decided to pursue his dream of being a football commentator when he was young, so as to save his runaway wife. The film is the first feature-length film created by Mexican director Raul Lopez Echeverria based on his 2015 award-winning short film of the same name, inspired by his observation of the worker community on the outskirts of Guadalajara and the profound impact of football on the community. With a moderately exaggerated comedy, the film tells the warm story of the middle-aged uncle chasing his dream. Instead of deliberately describing the poor living conditions of the people at the bottom, the director showed their optimism in the face of difficulties through passionate football commentary.
