"Mom Don't cry" is another Korean realistic masterpiece after the melting pot, which was shortlisted for the broad mirror unit of the 17th Busan Film Festival. This film is adapted from the cruel story of "the mother who learned that her daughter committed suicide because she was raped by male students personally retaliated for her daughter". Liu Lin (Liu Shan), who has just divorced from her husband and is ready to start again, had planned to start anew with her only daughter Liu Yinya (Nanbaola), who had just been promoted to a high school student after saying goodbye to her unhappy marriage.
