The 19-year-old Yasuhiko Yasuoka (Hiroshi Makada), who loves painting, was admitted to the fine arts department of a university, but his life changed. The sudden death of his mother dealt a great blow to this inexperienced young man. Takeuchi Tetsuo (Yamazaki Nu), a middle-aged man who runs a coffee shop near Dawton Hori, sympathizes with Kunihiko's experience, so he pays for the burial of his mother and leaves her in the shop to help. Iron man's son Zhengfu (Sato Hiroshi) is obsessed with billiards and gambling, and the relationship between father and son is tense, so iron man regards Bangyan, who has lofty ideals, as his own, while Zhengfu is getting deeper and deeper in the quagmire of gambling. One day, when Bangyan was sketching on the bridge, he met the graceful Makiko (Matsuzaka Keiko), and the wonderful karma unfolded quietly at this moment. This film is based on the original work of the same name in Miyamoto-hui's River Trilogy (River of Mud, River of fireflies, Dawton Hori River).
