The friendly and cautious new Zealand team leader Rob Hall (Jason Clarke), whose team is called the "Adventure Advisor"; while Scott Fisher (Jake Gyllenhaal) is funny and leads the "Crazy Mountains" climbing team from Seattle. They compete with each other and help each other. The warriors in the two teams came from all walks of life. Among them were postmen, reporters, doctors, and a professional woman from Japan. These climbers may seem ordinary, but each of them has a dream of their own behind them that inspires them to go to Mount Everest, which is more than 8000 meters above sea level and has low oxygen. During the climb, their physical functions declined rapidly. While coping with physical exhaustion, hypoxia, and snow blindness, they unfortunately encountered a severe snowstorm, so their lives were on the line. The film is adapted from a real adventure in 1996.
