The French title of the film, Fidelio, and l'odyss é e d'Alice refers to three classics, all of which have strong female characters: (1) Daphne's song "Madeleine" (1814) is about emotional love; (2) the wife who patiently waits for her husband who has been adrift at sea for ten years in the Dutch history; and (3) the fairy tale is about female fantasy and exploration. On the contrary, a mechanic in his thirties sailed aboard the Madeleine, and her Norwegian boyfriend Felix waited patiently for her arrival, but the captain turned out to be his lover Gael. He discovered the work left by the former mechanic / looked forward to the day, bravely explored his relationship with his male colleagues, and at the same time allowed the old man to sail safely.
