Two Asian comedians Yang Bowen ("SNL") and Joel Kim Booster ("Big Brother and Big Sister are useless") will star in the gay romantic comedy "Fire Island". The film is a modern edition of Pride and Prejudice and tells the story of two friends who spend a week's holiday together on Fire Island, a famous gay paradise on long Island, New York, accompanied by cheap wine and a group of eclectic friends. Searchlight Pictures and JAX Media ("reincarnation Party"), directed by Andrew Ann ("driveway" and "Sauna Night"), and Booster, which is also a screenwriter, will begin filming in August and will stream on Hulu (USA) and Disney+ 's Star (parts of the world outside the United States).
