In 1975, Northern Ireland suffered and traumatized during the violent riots of the Northern Ireland volunteers against Roman Catholic civilians. Alistair Jr. (Lemnison Liam Neeson), who was only 17 years old at that time, could not help joining the Northern Ireland Volunteer under the influence of violence, and brutally killed Joe's brother in front of young Joe Griffin (James Nesbitt James Nesbitt) in a violence against Roman Catholic civilians. As the riots subsided, Alistair was sentenced to 12 years in prison, while Joe, who witnessed his brother's murder, lived under his mother's censure and guilt. More than 30 years later, a television station also invited the grown-up Alistair and Joe to attend a program recording, trying to not only restore the truth of the incident in the form of an interview, but also hope that the two would reconcile. But how will Joe, who has been tortured by his heart, face the murder of his brother? And how will Alistair tell Joe what happened at that time? Will the two be reconciled, and how will their lives change?
