Like all avant-garde films, the burial of the Rose uses non-professional actors and gay cross-dressers to perform themselves in front of the camera. The hero Eddie, a young gay cross-dressing nightclub waitress (the movie doesn't explicitly call him a prostitute), is at odds with the nightclub manager (madam) and has an affair with the manager's man, the club owner. Eddie is always in a state of depression, and in constant flashbacks, the memories of his childhood gradually become clear: his father ran away from home when he was very young, so he has a deep affection for his mother and a strong possessiveness. He wanted to live with his mother, but her mother finally went out to find a new man. So one day, Eddie stabbed her mother and her lover with a knife and stabbed her mother with many knives. The story goes back to the present tense. The owner of the club finally got rid of the original manager, which caused the manager to commit suicide and Eddie was promoted to the new manager. After the change of government in the nightclub, Eddie and his boss began to live together. One night, the boss found a picture of Eddie when he was a child among Eddie's new luggage. As a result.
