In the hot summer, the aging actress Rongzi Morimoto (Haruko Sugimoto) comes to the mountains of the Polygonaceae plateau to spend the summer. She was greeted by Toshiko (Otowa Nobuko), a peasant woman who has been helping to manage the villa in the mountains for 30 years, and her daughter Minmei (Tomomi Seto). Rongzi learned that the 83-year-old gardener committed suicide a year ago and left a last word saying, "that's it." The enigmatic words made everyone sigh unceasingly. Soon, Rongzi's young actor friend Deng Meijiang (Chaofu mirror) and her husband Tengba Lang (Guanshi Rongfu) came to visit. Deng Meijiang suffered from Alzheimer's disease, but insisted on seeing his friends again. Several old people had an exciting and interesting time. A few days later, Mr. and Mrs. Deng Meijiang left, and Rongzi inadvertently knew a secret that had been buried for more than 20 years.
