Located in the middle reaches of the Colorado River and the southwest of the Colorado Plateau in northwestern Arizona, the Grand Canyon Grand Canyan is one of the most magnificent scenery on earth. It is sandwiched by deep valleys and divided into two parts: the south wall and the north wall. Nanbi has become the center of the Grand Canyon because of its convenient transportation, hotels and other facilities, and it can still enjoy the natural wonders during the winter snow season. From the beginning of the Ice Age to the present day, the Colorado River has been eroding the earth for countless centuries, resulting in the formation of the Grand Canyon, which is 347 kilometers long. The 446-kilometer-long canyon, which starts from the Mabel Canyon and ends with the Grand Wash Cliff, is one of the longest canyons in the world. The top of the canyon is 6 to 28 kilometers wide and 1800 meters deep. It takes 3 to 4 hours to get from the top to the bottom of the valley. The width on both sides of the valley bottom is less than 1 km, and the narrow part is only 120 meters. The valley walls on both sides are ladder-shaped. The water surface at the bottom of the valley is less than 1000 meters wide, and the water depth has increased to 18 meters since the ice and snow meltwater in summer. Most of the rocks are red. A series of rock series from Precambrian to Cenozoic are exposed along the wall from the bottom to the top of the valley, with clear horizontal levels, different colors and representative fossils of various geological periods.
