At the end of World War II, a 17-year-old boy wandered in the countryside. He was captured and released by the Soviet army, then arrested again by the Soviet army for wearing a cold German uniform and imprisoned in a remote barracks. There he established an impossible friendship with a young Soviet soldier. The film shows the director's consistent themes: psychological factors, random violence and dictatorship.
