Harlow (Bud Cort Bad Kut), a 20-year-old upper-class boy, is so obsessed with death that he pretends to commit suicide to scare his mother, attends funerals and even buys a hearse. Mother was used to it, but she couldn't stand it, so she urged Harlow to start a family and grow up as soon as possible. At other people's funerals, Harlow meets 79-year-old Mulder (Ruth Gordon Ruth Gordon), an old woman with the same hobbies, and has since entered Mulder's wonderful and colorful world. The cheerful and funny Mulder gradually enlightened the gloomy Harlow and finally opened his heart to her.
