In Northern Ireland in the early 1980s, a team from the Civil Liberties Union, organized by American lawyer Paul and fiancee Ingrid, came to Belfast to investigate whether civil rights abuses had taken place there. At the press conference, Theresa provided vivid evidence of the British government's "shooting policy." Harris slipped Paul a tape. Paul went to see Harris in the car driven by Molloy and was stopped on the way and two people were shot and killed. Kerrigan, an inspector of the British Criminal investigation Bureau, investigated the case. Ingrid found an empty tape box in Paul's belongings and volunteered to serve as Kerrigan's assistant. Mrs. Molloy's house has been searched and her husband's cassette boxes have all been moved. At Molloy's house, Ingrid recognized Harris from the picture-he turned out to be from the special division of the police department. Through Theresa, they met Harris. It turned out that the tape was evidence of a plot against senior British figures-the mastermind of the plot was the US Central Intelligence Agency. The purpose of the plot is to slander former British Prime Minister Harold Wilson as a puppet of the KGB of the Soviet Union and bring down the Heath government. Harris is looking forward to making this material public. Kerrigan was accepted by Robertney.
