Veteran comedy stars Will Farrell and John C. Reilly will join forces again to join Sony's new comedy film "Holmes and Watson." Farrell and Riley play detective Holmes and Holmes 'assistant Watson. Etan Cohen, director of "Pre-Prison Education" starring Farrell, will be the director of "Holmes & Watson." The script is inspired by Arthur Conan Doyle's Holmes novels and is a PG-13 comedy. When Sony first bought the script, it wanted Farrell and Sasha Byron Cohen ("Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby") to star, but it fell apart. Sony plans to start shooting immediately after Thanksgiving this year (November 24). It is expected to be released next year.
