After her mother died accidentally in a surfing accident, Beckett, a 16-year-old girl, moved to a whole new city with her novelist father and tried to start over. Beckett entered an aristocratic school and met her first love, but at the same time, she also found that the girls in the school made a "suicide pact", and several girls ended their lives soon after she entered school. Behind the mysterious suicide, she realized that the school was ruled by a group of young, beautiful, seductive female ghosts whose secret of everlasting youth was to drink the blood of virgins. The film is adapted from a novel of the same name published by American writer Jane Mendelsohn in 2000. it was released at the Austin Film Festival last year and was released in North America on August 29th this year.
