The undersea geek is a giant hexapod octopus that changed during a hydrogen bomb test, constantly attacking ships at sea and heading towards San Francisco. To make matters worse, it can emit powerful radiation, destroying any traditional weapon used against it. Two scientists (Donald Curtis, Faith Domergue) and submarine commander (Kenneth Tobey) finally came up with a way to stop it from raging when it destroyed the Golden Gate Bridge and gradually approached San Francisco.
