In 1425, during the French hundred years War, the maiden Joan of Arc was only 8 years old. She lived in a small village, Doremi, and looked after the sheep every day. One day, she told her friend Oviette that she could no longer stand the destruction of the French people by the British army. However, Sister Gervais tried to reason with the young girl and told her not to try to fight. But Jeanne was ready to take up arms, fight the British army to the end, and lead France to liberation.
