The theatrical animation is adapted from the lily cartoon "morning glory and Kase" created by Japanese cartoonist Hiroshi Takagi. The protagonist Yamada Jie Yi is an introverted and plant-loving sophomore in high school and the head of the horticulture unit in her class. The Kase classmate in her next class is the trump card of the track and field team and the most famous person in the school. One day, Yamada and Kase met because of the morning glory planted by Yamada and became good friends.
