After Reinhard Heydrich was assassinated by Czech agents in Prague on May 27, 1942, Hitler was so exasperated that at Heydrich's funeral, Hitler roared that he would take revenge, clamoring to use the blood of millions of people as the price to pay for Heydrich's murder. About 3000 Jews living in the Terry Kingstadt "special reservation" were sent to death camps, but it is not known how many. The SS in Prague were terrified. They knew that if there was no result in the hunt for Heydrich's assassin, it would no doubt trigger Hitler's homicidal desire for the person in charge who led to the failure of the operation. Arthur Neber, in the name of the Imperial Central Security Bureau, ordered the urgent printing of a large number of special issues of German penalty warning, which contained telegrams to local police stations and local governors. Instructions: "Special surveillance should be carried out at all stations, trains and on all means of transport; all foreigners living in workers' hotels should be registered and checked; and no suspects are allowed to cross the border." The Gestapo laid a net for the assassin with relentless efficiency. Reinhard Heydrich for Hitler.
