Sally Rowe, a court psychologist, has been appointed by police to determine whether there is enough evidence to charge 17-year-old Alex with murder. He is accused of shooting classmate Nigel. In the absence of physical evidence, the detective in the case was under pressure from the father of the powerful Alex to abort the surveillance. Looking deeply into the strange symbiotic contract between Alex and Nigel, Rowe found that although people are dead, the influence of the spirit of Nigel on Alex has not diminished.
