Adam, an eight-year-old boy, crossed the bottom of a hill and valley in the countryside of Tuscany and suddenly appeared in a small town in Siena, where he met his buddies Arianne and Martino. Adam thought he could find his parents by the sea, so the three men and a duck embarked on an adventurous journey to the sea. Rimando, a childish poet wandering between country hotels, gave them a hand, and the three little guys finally came to the coveted seaside, but there was no Adam's parents.
