This film is based on real people and creates a new performing art form of song and dance films-synchronized swimming. The heroine Anne Keller (Esther Williams Esther Williams) is the daughter of an ordinary music teacher. I wanted to use swimming to treat the leg disease I had suffered from when I was a child, but I didn't expect to develop a swimming stunt. Because of her father's transfer to work, Anne went to London with her father. Meet James Sullivan (Victor Maicher Victor Mature) who is a charlatan on board. He wanted to use Annie's performance in a swimsuit to promote her, but she unexpectedly became the focus of the media and became famous. Then Annie's water ballet performance got out of hand and caused a sensation. This film was nominated for Best Photography (Color Film) at the 1953 Academy of American Film Awards.
