A brutal homicide occurred in Tokyo, and the severed hands of young women were casually abandoned in public places, which immediately aroused widespread concern in the community. Soon after, a mysterious man called to claim that he was responsible for the severed hand. he kept calling the media, revealing details of the crime, or mocking the police's ability to do things, and then made a bolder notice. However, on the night of the original crime, two suspects fell off a cliff and died. This seems to be the end of the incident, but it is just the beginning. The film is based on the Japanese reasoning novelist Miyabe Miyuki's work of the same name, and won the Best supporting Actor Blue Ribbon Award (Hiroji Tsuda) in 2003 and the Best Picture Award at the 2003 Daily Film Award.
