My Architect

My Architect 7.4

This documentary tells the story of Louis I. Conin, a famous architect who has designed many famous buildings in Philadelphia, about his career and family. This is a film about love and art, and it is also a story about betrayal and forgiveness. From the underground corridors of the Pennsylvania train station to the National Parliament building in Dhaka, the crowded capital of Bangladesh, in these magnificent monumental works, we seem to see the amazing creativity of the most influential genius recognized by many architectural historians in the second half of the 20th century. However, in life, Louis is a mysterious and contradictory husband and father. Louis has three different family lives, and the director Nathaniel Conn is one of Louis's sons. My architect, a biographical documentary directed by American director Nathaniel Conn, won many documentary awards such as the nomination for Best documentary at the 76th Academy Awards in 2004.
