"Good Times, Bad Times" is a 2013 Indian black comedy thriller written, directed and edited by Alphonse Pslem, his directorial debut. It is made in both Malayalam and Tamil. This is an extended version of the short film of the same name he directed in 2009. The entire movie is set on a day in Chennai. The Malayalam version was released on May 10, 2013, and the Tamil version was released a week later on May 17, 2013. The film tells the lives of Matthew (Vite in Tamil) and Gina (Vinnie in Tamil). Matthew/Witt is a computer engineering graduate but is unemployed. His life is a bit complicated now because he took out a loan from a private moneylender named Vita Raji, but was unable to repay the loan because he had no income. Gina/Vinny's father denies her marriage to Matthew/Witley because he lost his job. Gina/Vinny decided to elope with Matthew/Witley, and his friend John gave him money to pay off Raja's debt.
