Two-time Oscar nominee Naomi Wirtz (Naomi Watts) and Star Wars 7 star Daisy Ridley have both joined the film "Ophelia," a re-imagination of Shakespeare's famous tragedy "Hamlet" that tells stories that were not told in the original play. Hamlet is Shakespeare's most famous tragedy, in which the king of Denmark is poisoned by his brother, and then the murderer usurps the throne and marries his sister-in-law queen. Prince Hamlet was filled with grief and indignation and secretly planned revenge, but the hesitation in his personality eventually led to the tragedy of the whole thing. Based on the award-winning novel of the same name by Lisa Klein, Ophelia describes Hamlet, her tragic love fate with Hamlet and her relationship with Hamlet's mother from the perspective of Ophelia, the marginal female character in the original play. Daisy Ridley will play the protagonist Ophelia, the queen's confidant maid and Prince Hamlet's secret.
