Anders (Anders Danielson Lee Anders Danielsen Lie) is about to complete his detoxification program from the drug rehabilitation center, which is in the countryside, so Anders has been suffocated. As part of his rehab program, Anders can come out of rehab and come to the city to interview for a new job. But instead of going to the factory for an interview as planned, Anders stayed in the city and wandered around. He stared greedily at the people in the street because he hadn't seen anyone for a long time. Time went by, it was midnight, and August was about to pass. The memories of the past once again invaded Anders, leaving him both painful and helpless. Perhaps, with the dawn and the end of August in Oslo, a new life will come. The film was shortlisted for the "one kind of concern" section of the 2011 Cannes Film Festival.
