The famous German director Wim Wenders was fascinated by the "first Lady of German Modern Dance" when he first watched Pina Bausch starring in "Muller Cafe." He and Pina quickly became best friends and came up with the idea of a co-film. After several considerations, Wendes decided to use 3D film technology to show Pina's passionate and creative modern dance art, trying to start a new and unique journey of visual discovery for the audience. However, shortly after the 2009 film plan was announced, Pina Pausch died of lung cancer, and the whole project was shelved. It was not until after talks with the Upata Dance Theater, where Pina was in charge, that Wendes decided to restart the film. In this film, Pina's dance works "Muller Cafe", "the sacrifice of Spring" and "the full Moon" run through the memories of her students and friends, and the camera is projected to the city of Upata, which is full of industrial landscapes. Three-dimensional interpretation of Pina's unique and wonderful dance aesthetics, leaving the most beautiful hymn to Pina.
