The story takes place in a strange magical kingdom. Sophia (voiced by Ariel Winter Ariel Winter) is a very ordinary and lovely little girl who lives a life of mutual dependence with her mother, Miranda (Sarah Milz Sara Ramirez). One day, King Lauren summoned Miranda and fell in love with her unexpectedly at first sight, and soon the two decided to join hands in marriage, which means that Sophia jumped from an ordinary girl to a noble princess. In this way, Sophia followed her mother to live in a tall and luxurious castle, where she had a lot to learn. In the castle, Sophia meets her stepsister (Daisy Ross Brynes Darcy Rose Byrnes) Amber and stepbrother James (Zach Carlison Zach Callison).
