The main plot is taken from Maupassant's famous short story Sheep Fat Ball. At the end of the 19th century, in the Wild Border region of the western United States, Buck the coachman drove to the town to change horses and was ready to go to Fort Rottsburg. Eight different characters shared a carriage, and because one of them was a prostitute in Dallas, it aroused discussion among other passengers. The escaped cowboy Lingguo is also going to take a ride to Fort Rottersburg to avenge the three Borum brothers who killed his parents and brother and put him in prison. But when he boarded the mixed stagecoach, his outlook on life changed.
