This film is the fifth episode in the "Star Trek" series. It starred the original crew, but was directed by William Satner, who plays Captain Kirk, and was also his directorial debut. The story describes a mysterious crazy visionary Sebuk occupying a distant planet, taking the interstellar ambassador hostage, forcing the Enterprise to set off urgently, and entering an unknown universe that no one has visited to find the legendary God. But who is God? The opening of this film is quite shocking, but unfortunately it is unsustainable in development. Most of the length is revived in the overly mysterious story frame. It can only rely on spectacular visual effects to maintain its appeal. Fortunately, the ending is slightly improved and will not make the audience too disappointed. The Enterprise, which was undergoing repairs at its base, received an urgent mission. Captain Kirk and his party were ordered to go to planet Nimbo, which belongs to the neutral zone, to rescue the residents of Paradise who were controlled by traitors. The rebels took the Enterprise hostage to the center of the galaxy to find its source.
