DJ Williams (Columbus Salter Columbus Short), known as the king of the dance, has just experienced a community fight caused by dancing, and his brother, who has been protecting him, was accidentally killed in this bloodshed. Physically and mentally exhausted, he came from Los Angeles to study at a black school in Atlanta. Feeling very uncomfortable in his new environment, his life has changed dramatically since he joined an alliance of hip-hop enthusiasts. His outstanding dancing skills are displayed here, and while the allies admire him, they all expect him to help the League win the much-coveted national hip-hop competition. However, what they do not know, despite his amazing dancing skills, DJ has to face how to put aside the shadows brought to him by the cruel past before he becomes the most competitive backbone of the League. Can DJ stand up again, face up to the road ahead, and forge ahead on the hip-hop road he once loved?
