The story takes place in a beauty salon in Lebanon and revolves around the daily lives of five women. Layari (Nadi Rabaki Nadine Labaki), Nisri and Rima work in the same beauty salon, while Jamel is a regular customer, while Rose, a seamstress near the beauty parlor, lives with her elderly dementia sister Lily. They have different ages, different personalities and different life experiences, and they have their own unique stories. Rajari fell in trouble because he fell in love with a married man and had to face his unwitting wife; Nisri decided to go to the hospital for hymen repair surgery when her wedding was just around the corner; Rima was a lesbian and liked a beautiful customer; Jamel, a former actress, could not accept her daily aging; and the old Rose gave up love because she had to take care of her sister. Stories are intertwined, like caramel, both sweet and bitter.
