The film is a documentary about the "smoke-free zone" of the Yugoslav band, directed by the famous Yugoslav director Emir Kusturica, who also appears as a bassist for the band. The film records the experience of the "smoke-free zone" band touring Europe in 2000, interspersed with musicians' accounts of their growing up, as well as clips of gossiping and rehearsals backstage. The structure of the film is also very distinctive. The pictures performed by the band in the foreground are shot on color film, while the tidbits in the background and the band's self-narration are shown in rough black and white images, forming a strong contrast. The orchestra sang all the way, fully expressing the wildness and madness, joy and sorrow of Balkan punk in their laughter, jubilation and cynicism. During the tour, they insist on pursuing the music roots of Yugoslavia and hope to add modern rock elements to rebuild their own unique music style. This film won the Silver disk Award for Best documentary at the 2001 Chicago International Film Festival.
