Recife, Brazil, 1978. Ch ã o de Estrelas is a troupe that performs in fixed nightclubs. Its creator Cl é cio Wanderley is full of wild ideas. His circle is full of writers and artists who resist the military dictatorship with an independent way of life. One of the stars of the troupe is Paulete, with whom Cl é cio maintains a close friendship. One day, Paulete received his sister's boyfriend, Fininha, a young man who served in the army. Fininha was fascinated by the artistic atmosphere of the troupe and was soon conquered by the charm of Cl é cio. It wasn't long before they established a romantic relationship, which put Fininha in a dubious position: as he got deeper and deeper into the troupe world, he faced military repression.
