Based on the autobiography of Tianbao Grandin (Claire Dennis Claire Danes), an American animal scientist and doctor of animal husbandry from an early age, this film tells the story of Tianbao's unusual growth. Tianbao was diagnosed with autism when he was four years old, and his mother tried a variety of ways to make Tianbao speak. In order to let Tianbao have a normal life, her mother sent her to a boarding school. Here, Tianbao met her mentor, Dr. Carlock, who opened the door of her talent. With the help of his teacher, Tianbao was successfully admitted to the university. In the summer vacation before going to college, Tianbao came to his aunt's farm for a holiday. Since then, Tianbao has developed a strong interest in livestock. In the university, Tianbao made a "squeeze machine" to calm the tension. After graduation, Tianbao continued to study animal husbandry and designed a more humane slaughtering method that greatly improved the slaughtering rate. Tianbao understands the world in her unique way, "thinking like an animal", and speaks loudly about her own experience at an autism seminar.
