The story takes place on the picturesque Italian island where the Ernesto (Mimmo Cuticchio) family lives. In the early years, Esneto's son never came back after a voyage, leaving his young son Philip (Filippo Pucillo) and mother Julieta (Donatella Finociaro Donatella Finocchiaro) to live a life of mutual dependence. Fortunately, with the help of Ernesto and Uncle Nino (Beppe Fiorero Beppe Fiorello), mother and son can have a stable life.
