Middle-aged Mary Jones (Anassia Tacia Hill Anastasia Hille) is a filmmaker but has a little-known past beneath her glossy appearance. She was first born in Russia and was adopted by an American family when she was a baby. With the arrival of a will, Mary finally set out to return to her unknown, mysterious, strange and familiar hometown. Her Russian parents are dead in her will, and as the sole legal heir, Mary is about to own her parents' property, the Kadinovsky farm in a remote Russian mountain village. But the farm is regarded as an ominous place by the locals, and no one wants to show Mary the way. After many twists and turns, she finally reached her destination. Here she not only predates the strange vision, but also encounters Nikolai (Keller Rawdon Karel Roden), who claims to be her twin brother. They are all led here by the same suicide note. After that, strange things happened one after another.
