Dr. Martin (Orlando Bloom Orlando Bloom) has been making unremitting efforts to make a good impression on his colleagues, but even though it doesn't work out, Martin still doesn't get the success and trust he wants. Eighteen-year-old girl Diane (Lilico Riley Keough) was transferred to Martin's hospital because of kidney disease, and Martin naturally became her attending doctor. Under the careful care of Martin, Diane's condition gradually improved, but in the process, Martin developed complex feelings for the kind and beautiful Diane beyond the doctor-patient relationship. In order to keep Diane around longer, Martin secretly tampered with her prescription, making Diane's illness worse. By accident, the paramedics Jimmy (Michael Pena Michael Pena) discovers Martin's secret, and the unkind Jimmy starts blackmailing Martin.
