At the end of the Tokugawa shogunate, Haisaka's subordinate samurai film Tongzong Zang (Masumi Nagase) and his mother (Baisho Tieko), sister Shinai (Tomoko Tanaka), and maid Shihui (Matsuko) lead a poor but happy life.
