A couple of tour buses carry more than a dozen tourists from the West through the great deserts of southern West Africa, everyone is talking about their experiences, and no one thought that an unknown disaster was about to befall them. By the time the driver found that the direction of the car had deviated due to the failure of the compass, they were already in the vast desert hundreds of kilometers from the scheduled route, and to make matters worse, the car ran out of fuel at this time. They had to find an abandoned mine to settle down temporarily. When everyone was at a loss, Jack (Miles Anderson), a tourist from Australia, was the first to recognize the situation. He stood up and explained his predicament to the crowd. Then he volunteered to walk hundreds of miles to the nearest small village for help. Before leaving, he told others, who are well versed in the knowledge of survival in the wild, that they must deal with all possible difficulties in a strong and rational manner. Keeping a kind of spiritual strength is the key to one's survival. After watching Jack's back disappear into the sky, the people left behind were caught in a long wait, with bad weather in the desert, intense daylight, cold at night, and a near water hunger strike, a kind of anxiety and despair.
