Sam Spade (Humphrey Bogart Humphrey Bogart) and his partner Archer open a detective agency in San Francisco. One day, a lady (Mary Astor Mary Astor) visits her house and entrusts them to find her missing sister. They immediately launched an investigation and found that the lady's sister was with a mysterious man named Seth.
