Once upon a time, Jones (Tommy Lee Jones Tommy Lee Jones) had to abandon his family and travel with the Indian tribe because of his livelihood. Now, as he grows old, he finally returns to his hometown, but what awaits him is not the warm family he has been away for a long time, but the news of his wife's death and the cold eye of his married daughter Maggie (Kate Blanchett Cate Blanchett).
