A series of murders involving female skin occurred in the city where trainee agent Clarice (Jodie Foster) is located. Clarice is ordered to visit Dr. Hannibal (Anthony Hopkins), a mentally ill psychiatrist who is in prison, to obtain information on the criminal's criminal psychology. Hannibal asked Clarice to share her personal experience for him to analyze in exchange for his assistance. Clarice's thinking was no match for the doctor and she was defeated. Another woman was killed and another person was kidnapped. This time, the person who was kidnapped was the senator's daughter. Clarice had to find Hannibal again.
