In 1987, at the border between Malaysia and Thailand, in the village at the foot of Xiangyu Mountain in Jida, villager Ah Chang was a devout believer of the folk god Lord Nadu, but his wife, Ah Yan, did not think so. One day, Ah Chang drove away the snake in front of the shrine and inadvertently broke the wall of his neighbor's house.
